It may not be the secret to eternal youth, but one Italian company claims to have found a unique way to make people's skin look younger, healthier and even lighter using, of all things, a truffle.

Some things are better on than in.

Like chocolate. And alcohol.

In contrast to the effects they have when consumed (pudge, hangovers), these substances have purported cleansing and detoxifying qualities when applied to the skin. Perhaps this is why new beauty brand Ishi uses fair trade cocoa and Tuscan grapes in its face and body treatments and products.

Their ChocoTherapy facial comprises a chocolate 'milkshake' cleanse followed by a coffee chocolate massage and mask. The VinoTherapy facial uses crushed organic grapes, honey and lavender. Treatments are available at salons all over London, or a therapist can pop over to your house/office/hotel.

And the best bit? While you snuggle under crisp sheets on a comfy massage bed, you're invited to consume generous chunks of pure cocoa or a mug of vine-leaf tea (an aphrodisiac, apparently) before each treatment.

That's in. Not on.
